Job summary

The Charter School of San Diego is seeking a Certificated Teacher Resource Associate to assist in the academic program for 6th-12th grade and in the operation of the storefront resource center.

This role is 25 hours per week (5 hours a day) under supervision of the supervising teacher, serving as a model for students while supporting instructional activities and program operations throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• Completed a minimum of two years of college coursework (48 semester units).
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience working with secondary students preferred.
• CTRs are formally and informally evaluated throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Grade student work within 72 hours of receipt.
• Provide constructive feedback and support tutoring aligned with RC plan.
• Assist with field trips and events as needed.
• Support 3 hours daily with small-group tutoring sessions.
• Help maintain a clean, organized learning environment.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
