Job summary

Leisure Hotels & Resorts, Brainerd Lakes Area, seeks a Resorts Director of Facilities to lead facilities, engineering, maintenance, and capital improvements across its Brainerd Lakes Area resorts. This hands-on, big-picture role ensures safe, beautiful, and guest-ready properties.

You'll guide cross-property teams, develop preventive maintenance programs, and drive capital projects while maintaining strong budgets and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
• 7-10+ years of facilities, engineering, maintenance, or property operations experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a resort, hotel, hospitality, or similar environment.
• Experience overseeing large capital projects and maintenance budgets.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day facilities, engineering, and maintenance operations across multiple resort locations.
• Establish and oversee preventive maintenance programs for buildings, equipment, mechanical systems, and infrastructure.
• Ensure guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
• Monitor facility performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and guest experience.
• Lead, mentor, and develop facilities and engineering teams across multiple properties.
• Plan, manage, and oversee renovations, capital improvements, and major property projects.
• Develop annual capital budgets and long-range facilities and asset plans.
• Oversee compliance with safety regulations and risk management.
• Balance short-term needs with long-term asset strategy and cost control.
