Lead Resort Facilities & Maintenance

  • Establish and oversee preventive maintenance programs for buildings, equipment, mechanical systems, and infrastructure.
  • Ensure guest rooms, public spaces, recreational facilities, grounds, and back-of-house areas are safe, functional, well-maintained, and aligned with company standards.
  • Monitor facility performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and the guest experience.
  • Respond to urgent facility needs and provide leadership during emergencies when necessary.
Build Great Teams
  • Lead, mentor, and develop facilities and engineering teams across multiple properties.
  • Establish staffing plans, schedules, priorities, and performance expectations.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and create opportunities for training and professional growth.
  • Build a culture rooted in safety, accountability, teamwork, and pride in the work.
  • Partner with resort leaders to ensure facilities teams are connected to the broader operation and guest experience.
Think Big About Our Properties
  • Plan, manage, and oversee renovations, refurbishments, capital improvements, and other major property projects.
  • Develop annual capital expenditure budgets and long-range facilities and asset plans.
  • Work closely with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project scope, costs, quality, and timelines.
  • Help identify opportunities to extend the life and value of our properties through smart investment and proactive planning.
Keep People & Properties Safe
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Oversee life safety, fire protection, emergency preparedness, and related systems and programs.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and risk assessments.
  • Lead OSHA compliance and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Ensure facilities teams are trained and equipped to work safely and effectively. Own the Numbers
  • Develop and manage departmental operating and capital budgets.
  • Track expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.
  • Review contracts and manage vendor relationships and agreements.
  • Monitor utilities and identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and operating expenses.
  • Balance short-term operational needs with long-term asset strategy.
Make the Guest Experience Better
  • Understand that every maintenance decision can impact a guest’s experience.
  • Ensure facility-related guest issues are addressed quickly, professionally, and completely.
  • Maintain the appearance, functionality, and overall condition of our resorts to a high hospitality standard.
How We’ll Measure Success
  • Facilities are safe, reliable, functional, and guest-ready.
  • Preventive maintenance programs are consistently executed.
  • Facility-related guest satisfaction continues to improve.
  • Operating and capital budgets are managed responsibly.
  • Safety and regulatory standards are consistently met.
  • Utility and energy costs are effectively managed.
  • Capital projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to standard.
  • Facilities teams are engaged, accountable, and equipped to succeed.
