Leisure Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Resorts Director of Facilities for the North Shore Area. The role leads facilities, engineering, and maintenance across multiple resort locations, with responsibility for preventive maintenance, safety, and capital projects.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years in facilities/engineering, 5+ years of leadership, and a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Vision: safe, reliable, and guest-ready properties with strong budgeting and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day facilities, engineering, and maintenance operations across multiple resort locations.
• Establish and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure guest rooms, public spaces, recreational facilities, grounds, and back-of-house areas are safe and well-maintained.
• Lead, mentor, and develop facilities and engineering teams.
• Plan, manage, and oversee renovations, refurbishments, capital improvements, and major property projects.
• Develop annual capital expenditure budgets and long-range facilities plans.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Lead OSHA compliance and workplace safety initiatives.
• Develop and manage departmental operating and capital budgets.
• Review contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Address guest facility-related issues quickly and professionally.

What You’ll Do

Lead Resort Facilities & Maintenance

• Direct day-to-day facilities, engineering, and maintenance operations across multiple resort locations.

What You Bring

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7–10+ years of facilities, engineering, maintenance, or property operations experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building systems, grounds, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong project management, budgeting, and organizational skills.
