Job summary

Hilton San Antonio is seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Server to provide outstanding food and beverage service in a hotel setting. You will greet guests, describe menu items, take orders, and ensure a seamless dining experience.

Candidate should have prior server experience in hotels or upscale restaurants, strong interpersonal skills, and familiarity with POS systems. Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a server in a hotel or upscale restaurant is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling.
• Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training or coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as soon as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Process payments accurately and promptly using the hotel’s POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and setup.
• Communicate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and Hilton standards.
