Job summary

Hyatt Regency San Antonio is seeking a restaurant server responsible for presenting guest menu selections and recommendations, and delivering attentive service. You will build menu knowledge, engage guests in casual conversation, and help create the restaurant experience through your professional style and standards.

The role requires flexible hours (2:00pm–2:00am, weekends/holidays), plus TABC and Food Handler certifications; prior server experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work any time between 2:00pm to 2:00am on any day including weekends, and holidays.
• Must be TABC and Food Handler Certified.
• Preferred candidates will have at least 1 year of restaurant serving experience.

Responsibilities

• Submit guest menu selections and present food and beverage preferences.
• Gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our cuisine and drink options.
• Engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by your service style and attitude.
• Perform general restaurant preparation and maintain a sanitary environment.
