Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Loss Prevention team member to patrol the property, respond to safety concerns, and investigate incidents to protect guests and employees. You will document reports, monitor access, and assist in emergency procedures with a focus on confidentiality and professionalism.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work AM/PM shifts, and the capacity to remain calm during stressful situations.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• AM and PM shifts available.
• Effective communication by telephone, email, radio and reporting.
• Basic computer skills for documenting incidents.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.
• Remain calm and professional in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel property to ensure guest and employee safety and protect assets.
• Respond to house calls and assist with safety and hotel operations.
• Investigate crimes against property and persons; follow up on investigations.
• Assist sick/injured guests or associates; complete documentation promptly.
• Write incident and accident reports; monitor investigations and follow up.
• Maintain accurate records (logbooks, cameras, interactions).
• Distribute visitor badges and monitor access; conduct bag checks.
• Escort special guests and maintain confidentiality on sensitive issues.
• Assist with alarm systems and safety procedures; lead guests/employees to safety.
• Record unsafe conditions and maintain professional appearance.
