Job summary

Kiawah Island Golf Resort is seeking a Security Officer to monitor resort grounds, protect staff and guests, and deter vandalism or theft. You will work 2nd shift, complete incident reports, and maintain First Aid/CPR/AED/S.L.E.D. certifications with ongoing in-house training.

A valid South Carolina driver's license and background check are required. Responsibilities include collaboration with local law enforcement, enforcing safety policies, and delivering exceptional guest service while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related security training or military experience considered.
• Able to work rotating shifts seven days a week, including holidays.
• Must pass a S.L.E.D. criminal background check.
• Must possess a valid SC Driver’s License.
• Must be able to handle confidential information.
• Must have basic knowledge of computers and computer programs.
• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Surveillance of premises and protection of staff and guests; uphold security standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resort grounds to deter vandalism, theft, and suspicious activity.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and staff.
• Prepare and maintain shift logs and incident reports.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
