Job summary

Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina seeks a Maintenance Technician to support internal departments, perform preventive maintenance, and uphold high resort standards. You will inspect properties, address service calls, and keep facilities in optimal condition.

Evening availability is required; candidates should have 2+ years of maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license. On-site work, physical endurance, and attention to detail are essential to the resort’s guest experience.

Qualifications

• Evening availability 2:00pm–10:00pm is required, and may include weekends and holidays.
• Minimum 18 years of age due to equipment used and general work environment.
• Minimum of two or more years of maintenance experience highly preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist internal departments’ staff with all service calls, as well as manage the overall upkeep of our commercial facilities.
• Complete all assigned work orders efficiently and to Resort standards.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair resort equipment to ensure longevity and proper usage.
• Conduct on-going maintenance programs.
• Routinely inspect all properties to identify any potential opportunities and current needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Perform light plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs.
• Must have an eye for detail in the trade.
• Must possess good organizational and communication skills.
• Uphold the core values and policies and procedures of the resort.
• All other duties as assigned.
