Job summary

Kingston Resorts in Myrtle Beach is seeking a full-time Security Officer for the 2nd shift to help protect guests and the property. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, observe for safety risks and respond swiftly to incidents.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of security experience in a similar industry; 3-5 years preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of hotel floor plans, building layout, and surrounding area.
• Ability to listen, speak, read and write English clearly.
• Ability to stand/walk/sit for duration of shift.
• Hearing and visual ability to detect emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to observe and identify safety and security risks.
• Respond to emergencies including safety hazards, fires, medical incidents, and threats to life or property.
• Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents as needed.
• Write reports and ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and politely.
