Job summary

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is seeking a Sanitation Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning resort environment. The role involves waste collection, transport, disposal, and proper separation of recyclables across on- and off-property facilities, while operating equipment responsibly and adapting to changing operational needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to speak English.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Previous sanitation, maintenance, facilities, hospitality, custodial, or related experience is helpful, but equivalent hands-on experience and a willingness to learn may be considered

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, and dispose of garbage across resort facilities and operational areas.
• Properly separate recyclable materials (glass, paper, plastic) per procedures.
• Operate trash compactors and other assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work independently across assigned locations and manage daily sanitation tasks.
• Identify equipment issues and perform basic repairs or component replacements when qualified.
• Support Engineering Department operations (snow removal, rotating assignments, and other property-wide tasks) as directed.
