Job summary

The Sea Pines Resort is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor to oversee the Starboard Shop and Lighthouse Kids locations, driving guest service, sales, and brand standards in a fast-paced resort setting.

Lead a team of retail associates, coach on the sales floor, manage onboarding and training, ensure accurate POS transactions, inventory control, and loss prevention, and serve as a confident leader on duty as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic proficiency with POS systems and computers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and motivate retail associates.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional guest service.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
• Provide ongoing feedback and performance coaching.
• Serve as Manager on Duty in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Deliver a welcoming and engaging shopping experience for all guests.
• Drive sales through product knowledge, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Build relationships with guests and provide personalized service.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and timely.
• Ensure consistent execution of brand and service standards.
• Support opening and closing procedures and inventory processes.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards in both store locations.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and counts; monitor stock levels.
