Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa in Amelia Island, FL, is seeking an Outdoor Activities Supervisor to organize, plan, and oversee all outdoor activities, reporting to the Director of Recreation. You will lead activities staff, coordinate scheduling for team building and events, develop SOPs, and help align offerings with the resort's standards of service and guest experience.

The role requires 18+, valid driver’s license, CPR/AED/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, and availability

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company MVR requirements.
CPR, AED and Basic First Aid certification or willing to obtain.
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and occasional evenings.
Must be willing and able to work in unfavorable weather.

Responsibilities

Know and share information about the resort and activities, communicating daily events and hours to guests and team.
Collaborate with the Director of Recreation to maintain service quality and drive revenue in outdoor activities.
Direct and lead Outdoor activities staff to ensure the vision is understood and executed.
Create and update SOPs for all activities.
Supervise all Outdoor Activities and related equipment.
Coordinate staff scheduling for Team Building and group events.
Assist with development of new programs.
Create MOS checklists for Outdoor Activities.
Work with Associate Services on recruiting and training.
Inspect Activity Vehicles daily and log issues.
Understand Omni's financial goals and how they relate to operations.
