Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa in Florida is seeking an Outdoor Activities Supervisor to plan, organize, and oversee all outdoor programs, reporting to the Director of Recreation. You will communicate daily events, hours, and activity information to guests and staff.

You will lead Outdoor Activities staff, create and update SOPs, schedule team building and group events, recruit/train, and support new program development to drive quality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet company MVR requirements.
• CPR, AED and Basic First Aid certification or willing to obtain.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and occasional evenings.
• Must be willing and able to work in unfavorable weather.

Responsibilities

• Know and share information about the resort and activities, communicating daily events, hours of operation and resort/activity information to guests and employee partners.
• Work with Director of Recreation to ensure service excellence and drive revenue in all activities on property.
• Direct and lead Outdoor Activities staff ensuring the vision is understood and executed.
• Create and update SOPs for all activities.
• Supervise and orchestrate all Outdoor Activities and equipment involved.
• Coordinate scheduling of staff for Team Building and group events.
• Assist with development of new programs.
• Create and update MOS checklist for Outdoor Activities.
• Work with Associate Services on recruiting and training.
• Inspect all Activity Vehicles daily and log issues in Synergy.
• Understand Omni’s financial goals and how they relate to the Trilogy.
