Job summary

Ottine Mineral Springs seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep the resort's buildings, equipment, and grounds in peak condition. The role requires performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems, with some night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

You will document work, use hand/power tools, and ensure safety standards are met while supporting daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• 6 months+ maintenance/facilities experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Able to safely use hand and power tools and maintenance equipment.
• English reading/writing skills required.
• Reliable, punctual with good communication.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs independently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings, grounds, equipment and systems for maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical issues.
• Perform minor repairs and installations (locks, fixtures, drywall, appliances).
• Carry out preventive maintenance: replace filters, bulbs, service machinery.
• Document work performed and materials used.
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks.
• Follow safety policies and building codes.
• Communicate issues and timelines to supervisors.
