Job summary

Ottine Mineral Springs LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Pool Technician to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained pools, hot tubs, and water features. You will balance chemicals, monitor systems, and perform repairs while upholding guest safety and ADA accommodations.

Role may require overnight, weekend and holiday shifts. Candidates should have pool maintenance experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently in an outdoor/indoor resort setting.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in pool maintenance or related field.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Strong knowledge of pool chemistry, filtration systems, and maintenance procedures.
• Reliability, punctuality, and professional communication skills are critical.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.
• CPR certification a plus or willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and maintenance of pools, hot tubs, and water features including draining pools, cleaning, vacuuming, and chemical balancing.
• Monitor water chemistry and adjust chemicals to maintain safe levels according to health and safety regulations.
• Conduct routine checks and repairs of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and other equipment.
• Identify and address potential hazards ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
• Maintain records of water testing, chemical usage, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with Pools Supervisor to develop preventative maintenance schedules.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for pools at season start and end.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests, including accessibility support per ADA guidelines.
