Job summary

Ottine Mineral Springs LLC in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our resort buildings, equipment, and grounds safe and well‑maintained. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, and document work orders while adhering to safety codes.

This role may require nights, weekends, and holidays. A minimum of 6 months in maintenance or facilities is preferred, with basic tool skills, the ability to read

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of maintenance or facilities experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems for maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems, and kitchen appliances.
• Perform minor repairs and installations, including locks, fixtures, drywall, appliances, and equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks such as changing filters, replacing lightbulbs, servicing machinery, and performing routine upkeep
• Maintain control panels, wiring, and system components in accordance with safety and code requirements
• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, mopping, trash removal, and maintaining work areas
• Maintain outdoor areas through mowing, basic landscaping, and grounds upkeep
• Accurately document and maintenance work, repairs performed, and materials or supplies used
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and operational impact.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and applicable building codes.
• Always have constant awareness of safety hazards and report findings to supervisor.
• Communicate maintenance issues, hazards, and repair timelines to supervisors or management.
• Assist with special projects and additional maintenance duties as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, storage spaces, and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
