Job summary

Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, MN is seeking a Maintenance (Property) Worker to perform repair, maintenance and preventative tasks across the resort’s outlets and facilities. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment to keep operations safe and running smoothly.

The role requires general repair/handyman experience, ability to lift over 50 pounds, and flexibility in hours. Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office is valued, and a high school diploma or GED is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires general repair/handyman experience and ability to use general repair tools.
• Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and work flexible hours.
• High level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds occasionally.
• Stand, walk 6-7 hours, climb stairs, reach and bend.
• Read basic chemical labels and write reports clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repair/light maintenance of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, pools, lighting, appliances, and safety systems.
• Repair and maintain commercial laundry equipment.
• Maintain shop, vehicles, and equipment.
• Prepare detailed time sheets and records of maintenance activities.
• Generate work orders and assist in property department duties.
• Maintain safe work habits and use precautions with each tool or machine.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication.
• Other duties may be assigned.
