Black Butte Ranch in Central Oregon is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance across facilities and outdoor spaces. You will operate heavy equipment, support seasonal and emergency operations, and help guests and homeowners with maintenance needs while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of resort or facilities experience, the ability to read work orders, and a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of resort or facilities maintenance experience.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery and maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders and technical documentation.
  • Valid Oregon driver’s license.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs across facilities, operations, and common areas.
  • Operate heavy equipment and support snow removal and seasonal operations.
  • Provide project estimates and help obtain material quotes.
  • Communicate with homeowners, guests, vendors, and staff regarding maintenance needs and updates.
  • Respond to after-hours and emergency maintenance calls as required.
  • Collaborate with team members and support other departments.
