Job summary

Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team. This hands-on role requires skilled maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general systems to keep the resort running smoothly.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and assist with seasonal tasks in a fast-paced, on-site resort environment. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance or related experience
• Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or carpentry
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders and service requests across the property
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems
• Repair and maintain equipment (heaters, exhaust fans, kitchen equipment, etc.)
• Perform light carpentry, painting, and general repairs as needed
• Prepare basic labor and material estimates for maintenance projects
• Monitor and maintain pool systems, including chemical adjustments and filtration
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations
• Assist with seasonal tasks, including snow removal
• Support team training and follow all safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Experience in one or more areas: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or carpentry
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license required
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Active role requiring standing, walking, lifting, and use of tools
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
• Indoor and outdoor work in varying conditions
• Fast-paced, high-volume resort environment
