Job summary

Lake Lawn Resort, located on Delavan Lake, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our resort operations running smoothly. This hands-on role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility upkeep across the property.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, respond to service calls, and assist with seasonal tasks in a fast-paced resort environment while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of maintenance or related experience preferred
• Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or carpentry
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders and service requests across the property
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems
• Repair and maintain equipment (heaters, exhaust fans, kitchen equipment, etc.)
• Perform light carpentry, painting, and general repairs as needed
• Prepare basic labor and material estimates for maintenance projects
• Monitor and maintain pool systems, including chemical adjustments and filtration
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations
• Assist with seasonal tasks, including snow removal
• Support team training and follow all safety procedures
