Job summary

Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep rental units clean, safe and in good repair. You will work with the Property Management team to ensure operability and guest satisfaction across villas and homes on the property.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, making repairs, managing parts, and coordinating with vendors. The role requires 2+ years in maintenance and basic IT knowledge, with a focus on reliability and guest-focused service.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance-related work experience.
• Well organized, detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Some general IT knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, contractors and vendors.
• Comfort with working in varied environments and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all resort rental units in proper working order within guidelines.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Record maintenance and repair costs and update work orders.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Order parts and supplies and obtain them from storerooms or vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce future problems and coordinate with third parties as needed.
