Job summary

Deer Valley Resort seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team across lodges in Park City, Utah. This year‑round role focuses on proactive upkeep of buildings, residences, and equipment to ensure a safe, high‑quality guest and employee environment.

You will recruit, train, and supervise staff; manage safety programs; coordinate budgets and projects; work with vendors and suppliers; and maintain inventories.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of a wide range of maintenance areas including general repair work, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and related systems.
• Experience in hiring, training, and supervising employees.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and safety orientation.
• Exceptional dependability with a willingness to work a flexible schedule and be on call.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, manage, train, develop, schedule, and evaluate maintenance staff performance.
• Provide direct supervision to maintenance leadership and staff.
• Oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal checklists and projects.
• Coach staff in updated maintenance practices and standards.
• Support department staff with technical problems and parts.
• Maintain property in an 'as new' condition with attention to detail.
• Ensure safety protocols are met and documented annually.
• Assist with capital project budgeting and vendor coordination.
