Job summary

Town and Country Resort in San Diego, CA, seeks a Loss Prevention Officer to protect guests, Team Members, and property while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment at a busy 24-hour resort.

You'll patrol grounds, monitor cameras, respond to emergencies, conduct investigations, and collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, and housekeeping to uphold policies and safety standards. Starting rates $21.50–$22.50 hourly based on shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or hospitality preferred.
• Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to remain calm, professional, and objective during challenging situations.
• Good judgment and the ability to recognize when to respond independently and when to contact a supervisor or emergency services.
• Comfort using computers, radios, surveillance systems, and incident-reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Patrol resort grounds, guest areas, meeting spaces, parking areas, and back-of-house locations to promote a safe environment.
• Monitor surveillance systems and access points, identifying and reporting suspicious activity or potential security concerns.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, disturbances, and requests for assistance.
• Conduct safety checks and report hazards, suspicious conditions, and security vulnerabilities.
• Assist with emergency evacuations, medical incidents, fire alarms, and other emergency procedures.
