The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando in Winter Garden, FL is hiring a full-time Cook to elevate our resort dining program. You will prepare, cook, and present menu items across multiple outlets, while following standardized recipes, health and safety rules, and guest needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior culinary experience or training is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification is a plus).
• Passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items following standardized recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of food to comply with health regulations.
• Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries to ensure quality and quantity.
• Follow portion controls and minimize waste to support food cost initiatives.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as assisting with special events or banquets.
