Job summary

Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate is seeking a friendly hostess to welcome guests, manage seating, and support servers to ensure smooth dining service. You will greet guests, present menus, and coordinate reservations with the front-of-house team in a fast-paced resort setting.

Responsibilities include upholding a polished image, following seating charts, and delivering attentive service while maintaining cleanliness and a positive guest experience across peak hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Seat guests at appropriate tables as per seating chart.
• Provide guests with menus.
• Organize and prepare reservations.
• Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate needs, and respond to inquiries.
• Answer telephones with enthusiasm and in a professional manner at all times.
• Ensure restaurant is set to proper lighting upon opening.
• Communicate with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and beverage service.
• Clean and reset tables as required.
• Communicate with management, kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth customer flow.
• Plan parties and events with management support.
• Perform additional responsibilities as directed by a manager.
• Follow daily checklists and side work; assist with setup and breakdown of service areas.
