The Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate seeks a friendly, motivated Host/Hostess to monitor dining sections, estimate wait times, and manage guest flow. You will answer calls, book reservations, and arrange seating for large parties in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.

• Must have an unexpired tips certification.
• Maintains a clean and professional image at all times.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Speaks to guests with enthusiasm at all times.
• Must work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Seat guests at appropriate tables as per the seating chart.
• Provide guests with menus.
• Organize and prepare reservations.
• Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs, and respond to guest inquiries.
• Answer telephones with enthusiasm and in a professional manner.
• Ensure restaurant is set to proper lighting upon opening.
• Communicate with guests to ensure quality satisfaction with food and beverage service.
• Clean and reset tables as required.
• Communicate with management, kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth flow.
• Plan parties and special events with management assistance.
• Follow checklists, side work, set-ups, stocks and cleaning duties as directed.
• Contribute to a professional workplace and teamwork.
• Attend staff meetings for updates and direction.
