Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Orlando (ChampionsGate) is seeking a friendly Host/Greeter to welcome guests, seat them at appropriate tables, provide menus, and manage reservations in a fast-paced dining room.

The role requires excellent communication, a professional image, ability to work flexible shifts, and teamwork with FOH/BOH. Prior hospitality experience is preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Seat guests at appropriate tables as per the seating chart
• Provide guests with menus
• Organize and prepare reservations
• Answer telephones with enthusiasm and in a professional manner
• Ensure restaurant is set to proper lighting upon opening
• Communicate with management, kitchen staff, and serving staff to ensure effective customer flow
• Attend staff meetings to receive information and direction
