Job summary

Luminary Hotel & Co in Holmes Beach, FL seeks a Resort Host (Front Desk Host) to be the first impression, handling front desk, bell services, and concierge duties with a personalized service approach aligned to Autograph Collection standards.

You will escort guests to rooms, assist with luggage, provide local recommendations, manage check-ins, and maintain guest confidentiality while delivering a seamless, memorable experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to use tablets and other hotel technology.

Responsibilities

• Assign and escort guests to rooms according to their preferences and nonverbal cues.
• Assist guests to their rooms and with luggage as needed.
• Park guest’s car and provide room quotes, upsell when possible.
• Interact with guests using personalized service and guest name.
• Know all hotel functions and brand rewards to showcase the property.
• Maintain guest confidentiality and provide local information on dining, shopping, nightlife, and activities.
• Receive, store, and deliver luggage; run errands and assist with travel arrangements.
• Coordinate between Housekeeping and Front Desk; verify charges and collect payments.
