Job summary

Omni Hotels is seeking an entry-level Grounds Maintenance team member to help maintain resort grounds. You will learn and perform basic landscape tasks with guidance, while contributing to a high-quality outdoor environment for guests.

Experience is not required, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work outdoors in all weather are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to learn to operate potentially hazardous landscape equipment.
• Must be able to work weekdays and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to stand for up to 60 minutes per hour.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and carry items as required.
• Experience with basic landscape tasks is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Arrive in uniform with a positive attitude and prepare for the day.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily groundskeeping goals.
• Perform grounds tasks to meet quality guidelines for daily operation.
• Inspect and safely operate landscape tools and equipment; report issues.
• Maintain lawns, plantings, sidewalks, and related landscape features.
• Assist with snow removal and outdoor guest areas as needed.
