Job summary

Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa in Bedford, PA is seeking a dedicated groundskeeper to maintain outdoor areas and support a welcoming guest experience. You will manage the property's exterior, assist guests, and follow safety protocols to protect guests and assets.

The role emphasizes independent work with minimal supervision, accuracy in applying safety measures, and the use of power tools to keep sidewalks, drives, and parking areas in prime condition.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a groundskeeper preferred.
• Ability to assist all guests with a friendly and outgoing demeanor
• Ability to prioritize and self-manage assigned work.
• Excellent organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workload in a dynamic environment.
• Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate to heavy weight without assistance.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
• Responds quickly to sounds. Moves safely over uneven terrain. Identify and respond to dangerous situations.
• Safely climb ladders while carrying moderate to heavy weight. Wear personal protective equipment when required.
• Interior of hotel and in all areas of the property.
• Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.
• Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
• Exposure to various cleaning chemicals.
• Power tools and general engineering tools.

• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
