Job summary

Loon Mountain Resort is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of general and technical maintenance across its buildings and facilities. The role supports carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and preventative maintenance to ensure a safe, well-maintained resort environment for guests and team members.

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, mechanically inclined, and committed to safety and quality in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of related experience in building maintenance, construction, or a skilled trade preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and technical maintenance and repair work across all resort buildings and facilities including carpentry, painting, and structural repairs.
• Assist the Plumber and Electrician on new installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks as directed.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, heating system, and appliance repairs within the scope of the position.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks as assigned; identify and report potential issues before they become failures.
• Complete a variety of interior and exterior painting projects throughout the resort including surface preparation, priming, and finish work.
• Respond to building and facility maintenance emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
