Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation on Loon Mountain is seeking a skilled construction professional to maintain all buildings on the property, construct and repair structures, and ensure they conform to local building codes. Some painting and equipment installation may be required.
Responsibilities include reviewing blueprints, selecting materials, building framing, installing windows/doors, using scaffolding, and maintaining energy efficiency. Safety training and team collaboration are emphasized.
Maintain all buildings on Loon Mountain property as required. Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures, conforming to local building codes. Some painting and equipment/materials installation projects may be required. Employee housing is an option. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employees' job is to get and keep guests.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Associate’s degree from two-year college in building trades; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, write, and speak effectively.
Basic math skills required.
Ability to solve practical problems.
Operator’s License.
