Job summary

The Boca By Design team at The Boca Raton is seeking an experienced décor and events specialist to design and service décor products for resort and off-site locations. You will meet with clients, write proposals, and coordinate with production crews, floral teams, and vendors to deliver standout events that meet profit targets.

Qualifications

• College Degree Required.
• Minimum three years in décor design business operations and florals.
• Two years’ experience in sales for special events.
• Knowledge of DMC, event management or hotel service, selling décor, and proposal writing.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients in-house and off-site and write proposals.
• Promote Boca By Design décor services and write profit-based proposals.
• Coordinate installation, production crews, and vendor teams for events.
• Respond to RFPs promptly and lead event installations to meet client vision.
• Forecast future business and develop new leads; ensure on-time delivery of items.
