Job summary

Merlin Entertainments in Carlsbad, CA is seeking an EMT to support the Health Services department with BLS response, workers' comp duties, and documentation. The role involves public interaction and ensuring high standards of service and safety across resort facilities.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, patrolling hotel, pool, Sea Life areas, coordinating with transport, and maintaining certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of EMT experience.
• Current San Diego County EMT Card.
• Current CPR/AED certification (AHA or ARC).
• EMT-bridged, ER, or theme park medical exp desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide BLS emergency medical care to guests, staff, and vendors.
• Complete patrols of the resort areas.
• Coordinate patient care with local transport and LLCR emergency staff.
• Maintain certifications and complete detailed documentation.
• Prepare treatment areas and medical bags for daily operation.
• All other duties as assigned.
