Job summary

LEGOLAND Parks in Carlsbad, CA seeks an EMT to support the Health Services department with BLS response, injury management, and documentation for guests and staff. You will patrol the resort, assist with AED checks, and coordinate care with local transport while maintaining certifications and professional conduct.

The role requires 1 year EMT experience, a valid EMT card for San Diego County, and current CPR/AED certifications. Flexible hours and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year EMT experience
• Current San Diego County EMT Card
• Current CPR/AED certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• EMT bridging or ER/theme park medical experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Acts within EMT Scope of Practice.
• Provides medical coverage for the Resort.
• Completes patrols of hotel/pool/Sea Life/construction site.
• Assists with monthly AED checks.
• Provides BLS emergency medical care to guests, staff, contractors, and vendors.
• Operates medical emergency vehicle safely to scenes.
• Coordinates patient care between local transport and LLCR staff.
• Assists with work-related injury management.
• Completes detailed, accurate documentation prior to EOS.
• Maintains EMT/CPR certifications.
• Performs duties safely, courteously, and professionally.
• Cleans and stocks treatment areas and bags; maintains vehicle.
• Assists with patient care/communication including emails.
• All other duties as assigned.
