Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Common Area Attendant to maintain a clean, welcoming environment across indoor and outdoor resort spaces at our National Harbor location.

You will perform housekeeping tasks to ensure guest comfort and safety, while upholding the brand’s service standards. Responsibilities include dusting, floor care, restroom replenishment, trash removal, and reporting any property issues.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend routine instructions, short correspondence and memos in English.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• A professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work well independently or with others as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment in the resort.
• Dust and polish furniture, counters, mirrors and fixtures; wash floors and woodwork.
• Sweep, scrub and mop floors; clean and vacuum carpets; restock restrooms and locker rooms.
• Remove trash and maintain interior appearance; transport materials to disposal/recycling areas.
• Observe precautions to protect property and report damage or theft to supervisors.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain positive guest relations.
