Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf's Lyric at RidgeGate in South Metro Denver seeks a bartender who delivers friendly service and beverage expertise. You will prepare and serve drinks and light fare, keep a clean bar, and balance cash during shifts under the Food & Beverage Manager's supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1 year of bartending experience in a resort setting, and current Food Handlers Card and TIPS certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• One year bartending experience at a resort is a plus.
• Must meet state/federal age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification are required.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash transactions.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide hospitality knowledge of the resort.
• Greet and serve guests, recommend beverages, and take orders.
• Mix drinks, serve wine/beer, and handle to-go orders when needed.
• Balance cash drawer and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area and assist in all Food & Beverage functions.
• Assist in inventory and ordering of liquors and supplies.
