Job summary

Happy Trails is seeking a dedicated Activities Coordinator to oversee the resort's Activities department and coordinate a diverse calendar of resident events. This role requires organizing entertaining and educational activities, supervising volunteers, and liaising with vendors to ensure seamless event execution.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work flexible hours across day, evening, and weekend shifts

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a wide range of resident activities and manage the Activities department.
• Develop and organize events such as entertainment, dinners, dances, and seminars.
• Negotiate with entertainers and vendors to plan and schedule events.
• Supervise volunteers and manage the Activities Office operations.
• Support club and group activities, space scheduling, and policy implementation.
• Advertise and communicate events to residents.
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
