A healthcare training company is seeking a Resolute HB/PB Epic Principal Trainer for a hybrid, long-term contract in Raleigh, NC. Qualifications

• 3 Years of experience as an Epic Principal Trainer required.
• Active Epic certifications (Resolute HB, Resolute PB, TED105, TED300) mandatory.
• 5 Years of experience in EHR/Health IT training needed.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and own tasks.
• Experience in adult education for health IT or healthcare revenue cycle apps.
• Ability to learn new content and develop strong training programs.
• Strong presentations and classroom delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain role-based training content for Epic.
• Co-facilitate classroom instruction with other trainers.
• Prepare training materials and set up environments.
• Learn new Epic content areas with SMEs to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with MST training environments; validate workflows and roles.
• Provide environmental support and coordinate with technical teams.
• Co-facilitate classroom instruction; prepare lessons and materials.
• Present information clearly to diverse audiences; assist learners.
• Train-the-trainer: credential and coach additional trainers.
• Plan and administer assignments, schedules, and timelines.
• Support curriculum development for third party applications.

Job description

DataStaff, Inc. is currently seeking a Resolute HB/PB Epic Principal Trainer for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC.

*This position is hybrid

* Epic Certification required.

• Must be certified in the following Epic application modules:Resolute Hospital Billing Curriculum Certification
• Resolute Professional Billing Curriculum Certification
• TED105 – Training Wheels Behind the Scenes Certification
• TED300 – Training Environment Build Certification

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain role based training content for Epic using Microsoft Office and other tools.
• Build comprehensive instructional materials and classroom exercises; maintain related policy and procedure documentation.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback to continuously improve training programs and administration processes.
• Learn new Epic content areas; consult with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Assist with building, refreshing, and testing MST training environments; validate workflows and roles.
• Provide environmental support, troubleshooting, and coordination with technical teams.

Delivery & Facilitation

• Co-facilitate classroom instruction with other trainers; assist learners during hands-on exercises.
• Prepare lessons, print materials, and set up rooms/environments prior to sessions.
• Present information clearly-both verbally and in writing-to diverse audiences.
• Follow up with trainees outside the classroom and offer additional support.
• Serve as an expert educator to state staff.
• Train-the-trainer: credential and coach additional classroom trainers as needed.
• Teach technical topics to staff and end users when required.
• Planning & Administration: Manage application assignments by prioritizing work, creating schedules, and adhering to timelines.
• Support curriculum and training development for third-party applications as needed.

Required Skills

• 3 Years - Epic Principal Trainer Experience
• Active Epic certifications (Resolute HB, Resolute PB, TED105, TED300).
• 5 Years - EHR/Health IT training experience
• Ability to work without close supervision, taking ownership of work activities, & ensuring training sessions & materials meet Epic's standards
• 3 Year - Skill and experience in adult education, especially for health information technology or healthcare revenue cycle applications
• Demonstrating flexibility with respect to required changes in training content and delivery methods
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work activities &ensure that they are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely
• Ability to learn new content and leverage that knowledge to develop strong training programs.
• 3 Years - Develops presentations & presents in a clear & interesting manner, commanding the audience's attention, & handling questions/challenges.
• 3 Years - Experience performing job shadowing

Desired Skill

• 3 Years - Credentialed and/or experienced in developing the Epic training environments
