Job summary

Arclin Springfield, OR is hiring a Production Operator E. This entry-level, full-time position reports to the Production Supervisor and performs tasks related to manufacturing and processing of resins and formaldehyde, adhering to HSE policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, operating a forklift, meeting production schedules, ensuring shipping documents, and participating in safety committees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience a plus; certification available.
• Capable of driving tractor/tanker or willing to learn.
• Analytical and mechanical mindset needed.
• Rotating shifts and PPE compliance.
• Able to lift ~50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures resin and formaldehyde according to established procedures and HSE regulations.
• Loads and unloads raw materials and finished products (tanker trailers, railcars, box trucks, bulk trucks).
• Operates forklift to load/unload raw materials (drums, totes, bags).
• Collaborates with management to meet production and shipping schedules.
• Ensures shipping documents are completed and regulatory requirements followed.
• Participates in the Joint Health and Safety Committee to improve safety.
• Follows site rules on quality, health, safety, and environment.
• Performs IPCs and uses lab equipment (GC, titrator, pH meter).
• Troubleshoots process deviations and coordinates corrective actions.
• Communicates with Lead Operator and others to resolve conditions affecting safety and quality.
