Job summary

Arclin USA is seeking a Chemical Production Operator for our Andalusia, AL location. The role, entry level and full-time, reports to the Production Supervisor and focuses on manufacturing resins/formaldehyde in compliance with HSE regulations.

The operator will support shifts, perform IPC checks, and work with Maintenance and Quality teams to ensure safe, efficient production. Candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to lift 50 lbs, and have basic computer/math skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Forklift experience preferred; certification can be obtained.
• Ability to drive a Tractor/Tanker unit or learn.
• Analytical and mechanical mindset for success.
• Must be able to rotate shifts (days/nights/evenings).
• Willingness to follow strict Health & Safety guidelines and PPE.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb; lift ~50 lbs regularly.
• Basic computer skills and arithmetic required.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures resin and formaldehyde per procedures and HSE rules.
• Loads/unloads raw materials and finished products safely.
• Operates forklift to move materials (drums, totes, bags).
• Cooperates with Lead Operator to meet production/shipping goals.
• Ensures shipping documents meet regulations and requirements.
• Performs IPC checks with laboratory equipment and notes results.
• Responds to process alarms and coordinates corrective actions.
