World Wildlife Fund seeks a Sr Program Officer, Resilient Rivers to provide technical analysis, project management and engagement across geographies. You will support grant writing, lead hydrologic assessments and coordinate with WWF offices, partners and stakeholders to advance freshwater protection and restoration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in hydrology, environmental or freshwater science.
• 6 years' professional experience or 3 years with advanced degree in natural resource management, conservation or related field.
• Ability to conduct quantitative analysis of freshwater protection and restoration.
• Basic GIS; advanced GIS and Python preferred.
• Excellent writing and public speaking.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead report writing, proposal development and resource mobilization with public and private sector partners.
• Lead technical assessments to underpin project and program development, focusing on hydrologic benefits.
• Liaise with WWF teams and other offices for technical insights related to CRRI and water protection.
• Lead technical assessment, map making, knowledge management, reporting and M&E.
• Co-lead communications and outreach for the CRRI and present findings internally and externally.
• Engage WWF offices and partners to connect CRR with other WWF priorities.
• Conduct research and monitor trends related to freshwater protection and restoration.
