Job summary

CVOEO is seeking a Community Resilience Navigator to guide individuals and families facing homelessness, housing instability, and related barriers. Working from the Community Resource Center, you will help participants identify goals and connect them with housing, benefits, healthcare, and education services.

The role emphasizes a strengths-based, trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and culturally responsive approach, with travel across the service area and a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with homelessness, housing instability, poverty, food insecurity, or behavioral health challenges is preferred.
• Knowledge of local service systems, public benefits, housing resources, and coordinated entry is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Guide individuals and families to identify goals and address immediate needs.
• Partner with participants to access housing, benefits, healthcare, employment, and education resources.
• Use strengths-based, trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and culturally responsive approaches in service delivery.
