Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is hiring Helpers for the greater Rockwell market. The Helper assists the refuse truck driver on pre-assigned routes to pick up garbage, yard waste, or recycling.

Duties include loading and unloading containers, backing up the truck under driver directions, operating packing mechanisms, and delivering courteous, safe service to residents and customers.

You will work in varied weather conditions, follow safety policies, and may cover additional routes or shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with safety policies including OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to perform manual and repetitive tasks and lift/move items as needed.
• Customer service orientation to interact politely with residents.

Responsibilities

• Picks up solid waste and places it in the back of a rear load garbage truck on specified routes.
• Assists Driver, backs up the truck under directions, and loads waste using the truck's mechanisms.
• Maintains cleanliness around the truck and reports safety or service issues.
