Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks a Program Manager for the Residential Care Services to oversee staff, ensure safe, therapeutic operations, and maintain treatment programs for youth.

Under the Director of Residential Services, you will manage staffing, coach supervisors, implement individualized plans, coordinate with clinical teams, and support admissions, transitions, and discharge planning. This role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and ongoing program quality.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• With HS diploma: 4+ years of work experience in a child care institution required.
• With some college: 3+ years work experience in child caring institution required.
• With Bachelor's degree: 2+ years work experience in child caring institution required.

Responsibilities

• Daily Operations: Manage daily operations of assigned residential units; ensure staffing coverage and schedule coordination.
• Staff Leadership: Supervise Residential Supervisors and Direct Care Specialists; provide coaching and evaluations.
• Youth Treatment Support: Implement individualized treatment plans and behavioral interventions; coordinate activities.
• Incident Management: Respond to behavioral crises; conduct post-incident debriefings and monitor trends.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct unit audits and safety rounds; report metrics and trends to the Director.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with Clinical Services, Nursing, Education, Recreation, Diet and Case Management; assist with admissions and discharge planning.
