Job summary

City House Inc. in Plano, TX is seeking a Residential Support Staff Supervisor for MFH to implement a structured program and provide an environment of guidance and nurture for children in care.

The role reports to the Emergency Shelter Director and requires coordinating staff, supervising shifts, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. You will work with the Interdisciplinary Team, use trauma-informed approaches, complete intake and daily records, and collaborate with case managers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; preference for some college.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
• Experience with children in therapeutic/residential settings preferred.
• CPR certification current or obtained within 30 days.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screens.
• Background checks required: criminal, FBI, DFPS.

Responsibilities

• Assigns tasks and daily responsibilities to Residential Support Staff.
• Approves hours for payroll including overtime.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards in collaboration with the Emergency Shelter Director.
• Guides staff in implementing a structured program for residents.
• Maintains safety and supports trauma-informed care.
• Monitors documentation and incident reports.
• Coordinates with case managers and participates in staff meetings.
• Administers prescription medication as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
