Qualifications

Family Resources, Inc. is seeking a dependable, mission-driven Co-Residential Supervisor to help oversee daily operations of our residential shelter program during non-traditional work hours. This leadership role is one of two supervisor positions responsible for ensuring consistent supervisory coverage, quality services, staff support, facility readiness, and compliance with agency, funder, licensing, and food program requirements.About the RoleThe Co-Residential Supervisor works opposite their supervisory partner to support 24/7 shelter operations, with minimal overlap, while fostering a positive, trauma-informed environment for youth and staff. The position provides hands-on leadership to Youth Development Specialists, supports client engagement and residential activities, coordinates staff coverage, assists with onboarding and training, monitors program performance, and ensures the shelter remains safe, compliant, and prepared for inspections and emergency situations.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a human services field with two years of experience working with youth preferred.Minimum of five years of experience working with youth and experience in a residential setting required.Two years of management or supervisory experience preferred.Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in a fast-paced residential environment.Commitment to trauma-informed care and high-quality youth services.Valid Florida Driver’s License, auto insurance, and clean driving history required.Must be able to pass a Level II background screening.What We’re Looking ForThe ideal candidate is reliable, professional, calm under pressure, and able to lead by example while supporting both staff and youth in a residential care setting.
