Job summary

Northwestern Counseling & Support Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated team member for our Supported Independent Living Program (SILP), a residential setting supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.

You will work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with weekend availability essential. You will foster a therapeutic, supportive environment, provide person-centered interventions, support daily living skills, including meals,

Qualifications

• Experience in residential programs or working with individuals with mental health challenges.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A warm, compassionate personality and a team-oriented mindset.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to transport clients.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a therapeutic, supportive, and stable environment in residential and community settings.
• Providing person-centered, strength-based interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Supporting daily living skills, including preparing and cooking meals.
• Administering medications as directed and transporting clients to appointments and community activities.
