Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California seeks a full-time Support Staff to supervise the residential living environment and support ATS continuum clients in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role focuses on safety, crisis response, and steady daily operations to ensure effective service delivery.

Qualifications

GED or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
At least one year of experience with substance abuse treatment clients or social services.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Ability to relate to and support substance abuse clients.

Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the security and physical condition of the residential living environment.
Coordinate resident clients’ community appointments and monitor attendance and behavior.
Provide program orientation sessions to newly admitted clients.
Coordinate room assignments and kitchen crew schedules; assist clients with crisis management and case issues.
Deliver daily client services such as educational sessions and group activities as needed.
